Automatic Gearbox Servicing – Torquay

Drivers from across Devon and Cornwall depend on The Gearbox Centre Devon in Torquay for precise automatic gearbox servicing carried out by trained transmission specialists.

Automatic transmissions rely on stable fluid pressure and thermal control, both of which decline when aged or contaminated fluid is left unchanged.  Servicing involves draining worn fluid, refilling with the correct specification oil for your gearbox, and replacing internal filters where possible.  This helps improve lubrication, protect internal clutch packs, and stabilise operating temperatures.

During the process, we also check for leaks, electronic control inconsistencies, mechatronic irregularities, and adaptation issues that can disrupt smooth gear changes.  Regular servicing is one of the most effective ways to prevent expensive gearbox repairs for drivers throughout Devon and Cornwall.
