Automatic Gearbox Repairs & Services at The Gearbox Centre Devon in Torquay

Automatic transmissions operate under extreme heat and pressure, making professional care essential when faults occur.

At The Gearbox Centre Devon in Torquay, we specialise in automatic gearbox repairs, servicing, and rebuilds for customers across Devon and Cornwall.

Gear selection problems, loss of drive, overheating, and unpredictable shifting are often linked to degraded fluid, worn clutch packs, valve body faults, or electronic control issues.  Our technicians use advanced diagnostic and testing systems to identify the exact failure point before any work begins.

We offer professional automatic gearbox servicing to restore correct pressure balance, improve shift quality, and extend transmission life.  Where internal wear is more advanced, we provide full gearbox rebuilds, stripping each unit to its core components and rebuilding to consistent tolerances using updated parts.

With commercial lifting capability, a purpose-equipped workshop, and experienced gearbox engineers, The Gearbox Centre Devon delivers specialist automatic gearbox repairs and services for the entire Devon region, including rural and coastal areas.
